Yes, I know it’s spelled granted usually in this context. However, this friend of mine has a granite company. I have known BD since childhood and I can say the person I knew many years ago has not been changed by his success. It has allowed him the opportunity to make other people’s lives better. A recent story of his goodness trickled through the grapevine so I called him to get his version and then he had another story to tell me as well!

BD shops at a local big box store and befriended one of the workers there. Brad invited “G” to his company picnic but when “G” arrived he could not find Brad and felt awkward and left. BD had not let “G” know that he was the owner of the granite company. When Brad heard that this had happened, he invited “G” back to his business and introduced him to everyone so that they would know he was a friend of BD’s and feel welcomed every time in the future.

In addition, BD shared with me that one of his new employees was living paycheck to paycheck and was having difficulty surviving until his first paycheck came in a couple weeks. BD gave this employee enough money for him to be comfortable until his first paycheck came.

Giving someone grace may just end up changing their lives!

Two wonderful stories! Thank you BD for BEING A LIGHT!
