PT was in the midst of her work day when she got stopped by a train. She knew from experience that she would have to wait a very long time so she turned around to reroute.She noticed a man(WK) on foot that seemed to be wondering how he could get around this problem. Pam worried that he might be trying to get to work, so she stopped and asked him if he needed a ride. She had a very good sense about this man and he quickly gave her his name and pertinent information to assure her that he was safe. As soon as he sat down in her car he prayed out loud “Jesus thank you for providing for me amen.” He explained he is homeless and on his way to Walmart to sell an old phone in order to get money for a place to stay that evening. He then began singing opera music. One of the interesting facts WK had told her was that he had been through a music education program to sing opera music. PT gave him some money and wished him well. They have been in communication and she wishes she could change his life. What an amazing talent he has and incredibly sad that he isn’t able to utilize it and improve his living situation. We are still hoping we can be the change for WK. Thank you PT for being a light for WK on this day and perhaps going forward:)
